Thieves strike Fashion Square jewelry store

A jewelry store at Westfield Fashion Square in Sherman Oaks was robbed by four people Thursday afternoon.

According to Officer Miller of the LAPD, the robbery was reported at 12:20 p.m., when four men in hoodies smashed glass and stole jewelry.

The four then got into a silver Audi A6 and headed toward the 101 Freeway, Miller added.

An ambulance was requested for a 60-year-old man who had been pepper sprayed. It’s unclear how he was connected to the incident.
