Erie, PA – Three luxury vehicles were stolen from New Motors BMW on Peach Street in Erie County early Friday morning.
According to Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) Troop E, the burglary occurred around 3:30 a.m. when three suspects pried open a garage door in the dealership’s service area. Once inside, the suspects accessed a service counter where loaner vehicle key fobs were stored.
The stolen vehicles include a gray 2024 BMW X5, a white 2024 BMW 760i, and a white 2024 BMW i7. Authorities located the vehicles later that day through BMW telematics in Buffalo, New York.
Police suspect the incident is connected to a burglary and car theft in Erie County on August 5, 2024, as well as a burglary at a Millcreek Township dealership on January 19. All three burglaries involved suspects forcing entry into service garages to obtain key fobs.
Investigators released a surveillance photo of one of the suspects and urged anyone with information to contact PSP Erie Station at (814) 898-4525 or submit a tip through PSP’s online portal. Callers may qualify for a cash reward if their information leads to an arrest.
