Tragic Firehouse Farm Event: 1 Dead, 4 Injured in Fireworks Incident

GILMER, Texas – One individual has died, and four others have been injured as a result of an incident involving fireworks at a firehouse farm event.

According to officials, the accident occurred on Tuesday morning around 10:30 a.m.

Authorities in Upshure County state that the incident involved explosions of fireworks and other highly flammable materials.

It is believed that something went wrong during the preparation of fireworks for an event scheduled for later in the evening.

A fire captain from Gilmer mentioned that eight fire departments were present at the scene to extinguish the fire.

The Texas State Fire Marshal and ATF will conduct an investigation, although they have stated that there is no evidence of intentional wrongdoing.
