Train strikes vehicle in Ventura County
A Metrolink train struck a vehicle near Camarillo on Monday, halting the train’s journey to Los Angeles.
The Metrolink Ventura County Line took to social media to announce the crash at about 2:15 p.m.
According to officials, a vehicle was struck while on the tracks between Oxnard and Camarillo.
As a result, the tracks were closed and VC Line 118 to Los Angeles was stopped.
Information about the cause of the crash, injuries and a possible reopening time was not immediately available.
