Two Deaths and Multiple Injuries in Lake Balboa Car Collision: Latest Updates!

Police are currently investigating a collision involving two cars that resulted in the tragic deaths of a 60-year-old woman and a 3-year-old toddler, as well as causing severe injuries to four other individuals in Lake Balboa.

The collision was reported at approximately 9:35 p.m. on Thursday. Upon receiving the report, the Los Angeles Fire Department promptly dispatched personnel to the 6400 block of Woodley Avenue, near Victory Boulevard. At the scene, they discovered the injured victims, as confirmed by spokesperson Margaret Stewart.

Sadly, the 3-year-old boy, who was initially in critical condition following the crash, succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. The 60-year-old woman, on the other hand, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Four other individuals, a 30-year-old woman, a 28-year-old woman, a 21-year-old woman, and a 22-year-old man, were transported to hospitals in serious conditions, according to Stewart.

Eyewitness accounts suggest that a gray Honda, driven by the 22-year-old man, collided with a white Honda in which the two victims and others were traveling on Woodley Avenue.

It is currently unclear whether the crash was influenced by drugs, alcohol, or excessive speed.
