Vermont Winter Storm Warning: Up to 9 Inches of Snow Through 1 PM Sunday

Rutland, VT – Heavy snowfall continues to impact Rutland and Windsor counties, with a Winter Storm Warning remaining in effect until 1 PM Sunday.

According to the National Weather Service in Burlington, an additional 2 to 4 inchesof snow is expected this morning, bringing storm totals to 5 to 9 inches. Snowfall rates could reach 1 inch per hour, leading to low visibility and hazardous road conditions.

The warning affects areas including Rutland, Ludlow, Killington, White River Junction, and Springfield. Roads, bridges, and overpasses are especially slick, and travel may be difficult.
