Seattle, WA – Residents can expect a crisp and sunny Sunday across King County, but temperatures will remain near freezing at night.
According to the National Weather Service, Sunday will bring highs near 45 degrees with calm winds, making for a pleasant afternoon. However, Sunday night’s low will drop to 31 degrees, with a wind chill in some areas dipping as low as 24 degrees. Those heading out in the evening should bundle up and prepare for icy conditions on untreated roads and walkways.
Monday will continue the sunny streak, with a high of 46 degrees, accompanied by light north-northeast winds. Monday night temperatures will stay below freezing, holding at 31 degrees under clear skies.
Looking ahead, rain returns midweek, with a slight chance of precipitation late Wednesday night. By Thursday, the forecast calls for rain mixed with possible snow, particularly along the I-5 corridor. Drivers should remain cautious and monitor updates as weather conditions shift midweek.
For now, outdoor plans remain favorable for Sunday and Monday, but take precautions against the freezing overnight lows. Stock up on winter supplies and ensure your vehicles are equipped for icy conditions as rain and snow approach later in the week.
