Washington Winter Weather Advisory: Heavy Snow to Impact Spokane Area Through Wednesday

Spokane, WA – A winter weather advisory remains in effect for Spokane and surrounding areas, with up to 6 inches of snow expected by Wednesday morning. Drivers should prepare for hazardous road conditions, especially during the morning and evening commutes.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS), light snow will start early Tuesday morning, followed by a brief midday break before intensifying Tuesday night. An additional 2 to 4 inches of snowfall is expected overnight into Wednesday. Winds will remain light but could reduce visibility at times.
Temperatures will stay cold, with lows dropping to 14°F on Tuesday night and highs struggling to reach 30°F through Friday. Another round of snow showers is possible on Thursday and Friday, keeping roads slick throughout the week.
Residents should allow extra travel time and check for road updates at wsdot.wa.gov/travel.
