Seattle, WA – Snowfall across Western Washington is expected to continue through early next week, with the National Weather Service keeping winter weather advisories in place for multiple counties, including Tacoma, Bellingham, and the Olympic Peninsula.
According to the National Weather Service in Seattle, the advisory remains in effect until 1 p.m. Monday for much of the region, with additional snowfall of 1 to 4 inches possible. Areas along the Western Strait of Juan de Fuca, North Coast, and Central Coast will see snow persist until Tuesday afternoon. Winds between 20 and 30 mph may lead to reduced visibility in some locations.
Roads are expected to be slippery, with hazardous conditions during the Monday morning and evening commutes. Some areas, especially those south of U.S. 101, may see higher localized snow totals.
Drivers should use caution, allow extra travel time, and prepare for possible power outages. Local authorities recommend slowing down and keeping emergency supplies on hand.
