Watch: Suspects wanted in connection with L.A. County investigation detained after pursuit 

Two suspects connected to an investigation in L.A. County were detained following a high-speed pursuit in Anaheim. 

Details surrounding the incident remain limited; where and when the chase started were not disclosed by authorities, but it ended at the intersection of Cerritos Avenue and Brookhurst Street around 9:30 p.m. Monday.

What prompted the chase wasn’t confirmed either; however, a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department spokesperson confirmed that the Toyota Prius involved in the pursuit was “wanted in conjunction with an investigation” in their jurisdiction.

The nature of the investigation was not revealed.  

Video from the scene obtained by KTLA shows that an undercover police truck appeared to collide with the Prius. Preliminary reports of the undercover unit performing a PIT maneuver on the vehicle were not confirmed. 

Further footage showed a man and woman being detained. The man was seen in handcuffs on the ground as the woman was escorted by officers into a squad car.
