Woman's Body Found in Redondo Beach Construction Site Identified After 20 Years
The body found at a construction site near Los Angeles over twenty years ago has been identified as Catherine Parker-Johnson.
Catherine Parker-Johnson was last in contact with her family in 1981.
DNA testing comparing her remains with her daughter and sister confirmed her identity earlier this year.
The Redondo Beach police issued a statement confirming the positive identification.
She was not reported missing at the time, and her identification remained a mystery until now.
The body was discovered on August 29, 2001, during a construction project on a residential street in Redondo Beach.
