Pittsburgh, PA – Snowfall is expected to create hazardous travel conditions across western Pennsylvania, eastern Ohio, and parts of northern West Virginia through early Friday morning.
According to the National Weather Service in Pittsburgh, a Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 4 a.m. Friday. Snow accumulations of up to 3 inches are anticipated, with localized heavier amounts possible in areas experiencing banding. Commuters in cities such as Pittsburgh, Steubenville, Morgantown, and Greensburg should prepare for slippery roads during both the Thursday morning and evening commute.
The advisory covers east-central Ohio, northwestern and southwestern Pennsylvania, and the northern panhandle of West Virginia. Officials are urging residents to drive with caution and allow for extra travel time as conditions could worsen throughout the day.
