Wind Advisory Issued for Western Michigan on Monday

Grand Rapids, MI – The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for much of western Michigan, including Grand Rapids, Lansing, and Kalamazoo, effective Monday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

According to the advisory, southwest winds of 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph are expected. These conditions may lead to power outages and blowing debris. Snow is also forecasted to arrive Monday afternoon, creating reduced visibility due to blowing and drifting snow.

Residents are urged to secure outdoor objects and use caution when driving, particularly in high-profile vehicles.
