New York, NY – New York City and surrounding areas will see overcast skies and rising temperatures on Sunday. A weak frontal system may bring a mix of light snow and rain into the evening.
According to the National Weather Service, morning lows will start in the teens along the coast, with highs reaching the 30s. Winds will shift from the east-southeast, increasing up to 10 mph, with gusts near 20 mph along the coast.
Snow accumulations will remain light, with most areas seeing around 1 to 2 inches. Coastal regions may experience a mix of rain and snow, limiting overall snowfall totals.
Travelers should prepare for possible slick roads, especially in areas where temperatures stay near freezing. The weather will clear overnight, leading to drier conditions on Monday.
