Wintry Mix Expected in Ohio and Pennsylvania: Snow and Freezing Rain Could Make Roads Slick

A winter weather advisory is in effect for Northeast Ohio and Northwest Pennsylvania this afternoon into tonight. The National Weather Service warns of snow, sleet, and freezing rain, creating hazardous road conditions.
Erie and Crawford Counties in Pennsylvania remain under an advisory until midnight. A burst of snow will transition into freezing drizzle by evening, tapering off overnight. Lake, Geauga, and Ashtabula Counties in Ohio face a special weather statement through the evening. Snow accumulations of up to 1.5 inches are expected before changing to freezing drizzle.
Authorities urge caution for travelers as roads could become slick. Warmer temperatures overnight will improve conditions.
