Wisconsin Weather Alert: Light Snow and Freezing Drizzle Expected Tonight

Milwaukee, WI – Light snow will move into Wisconsin late Saturday and continue overnight. The highest snowfall totals will be north of Interstate 94. Freezing drizzle may also develop, creating slick roads and sidewalks into Sunday morning.

According to the National Weather Service Milwaukee/Sullivan, snowfall accumulations will range from a dusting to two inches. The heaviest snow will fall between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. Freezing drizzle will likely develop in the early morning hours.

Road conditions may become hazardous, especially on untreated surfaces. Authorities urge drivers to use caution and allow extra travel time. Pedestrians should also be careful, as sidewalks may become icy.

The system will clear by Sunday morning, but lingering icy spots may persist. Temperatures will remain cold, keeping roads slick in some areas. Travelers should monitor weather updates and plan accordingly.
