Cheyenne, WY – A High Wind Warning is in effect today for the Bordeaux area along Interstate 25. Winds could gust up to 60 mph, making travel hazardous, particularly for high-profile vehicles. The warning will remain active until 2 p.m.
According to the National Weather Service in Cheyenne, strong winds are already being reported across southeastern Wyoming, particularly between Douglas and Wheatland. Travelers are urged to exercise caution as blowing snow may reduce visibility along parts of I-25. Alternative routes or delaying travel until conditions improve is strongly advised.
Looking ahead, calm conditions are expected Tuesday with sunny skies and a high near 45°F. Breezy weather will return by Saturday, accompanied by a slight chance of snow Sunday. Temperatures will gradually warm throughout the week, peaking at 47°F Friday.
Residents are reminded to secure outdoor items such as trash cans or patio furniture to prevent damage. Stay updated on the latest conditions through the National Weather Service or Wyoming 511 road updates.
