Yorkville, IL Encourages Community to Donate at Police vs. Sheriff Blood Drive

Yorkville, IL – The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office and Yorkville Police Department are hosting the Battle of the Badge Blood Drive on Wednesday.
According to event organizers, the drive runs from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Yorkville Public Library, 902 Game Farm Road. Donations take place in the Michelle Pfister Meeting Room.
Participants can schedule an appointment by emailing rscoebbing@yorkville.il.us with a preferred time. Walk-ins are welcome. Donors should eat a healthy meal and drink plenty of water beforehand. A photo ID is required.
Versiti Blood Center of Illinois is partnering with local law enforcement for the event. Each donor can help save up to three lives. Blood donations are vital for hospitals and emergency services.
