Cleveland, OH – Northern Ohio will face hazardous weather starting Monday as a cold front brings gusty winds and accumulating snow, impacting travel and daily activities across the region.

The National Weather Service forecasts wind gusts between 30-45 mph Monday afternoon, with the strongest winds expected along the I-71 corridor and the lakeshore. Snow showers will begin late Monday, with accumulations of 2-4 inches in Northeast Ohio and up to 5 inches in Northwest Pennsylvania by Tuesday morning. Drivers should anticipate icy roads, reduced visibility, and possible delays.

Monday’s high will reach 34°F, but strong winds will create wind chills in the 20s. Snow chances will persist through Tuesday morning, with additional showers possible Wednesday. By midweek, highs will remain in the low to mid-30s, while overnight lows dip into the teens.

Residents are advised to secure outdoor items, monitor real-time weather alerts, and avoid unnecessary travel during peak snow and wind periods. With conditions likely to worsen overnight, plan ahead and allow extra time for your Tuesday commute.

Stay prepared as winter weather takes hold and keep an eye on evolving forecasts.
