Quincy, CA – A landslide has forced the closure of State Route 70 between Jarbo Gap and the Greenville Wye, blocking normal traffic flow. Officials have not provided an estimated time for reopening.
According to CHP – Quincy, another landslide occurred on SR-89 north of Greenville, but Caltrans District 2 has cleared a lane, implementing one-way traffic control. Drivers are urged to exercise caution while traveling in the area.
Authorities plan to release daylight images of the affected routes as crews assess the damage. Travelers should monitor updates for further developments.
