Butler, PA – A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for northwest and western Pennsylvania from 7 PM Wednesday to 10 AM EST Thursday, with up to two-tenths of an inch of ice expected.
According to the National Weather Service in Pittsburgh, areas including Mercer, Venango, Clarion, and Jefferson counties will see freezing rain develop overnight, leading to slippery roads and hazardous travel conditions.
Motorists should exercise caution during both the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commutes, as roads, sidewalks, and bridges will be icy.
