North Dakota Weather Alert: Strong Winds and Snow Expected Through Thursday Evening

Devils Lake, ND – A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for northeastern and southeastern North Dakota from midnight Wednesday to 6 PM CST Thursday, with gusty winds and accumulating snow creating dangerous travel conditions.
According to the National Weather Service in Grand Forks, affected areas include Cavalier, Ramsey, Benson, and Steele counties, with 1 to 2 inches of snow expected. Wind gusts up to 45 mph will cause blowing and drifting snow, reducing visibility to 1/4 mile at times.
Travelers should use caution, especially in open areas where visibility will be most impacted. Road conditions can be checked at 511nd.org.
