Detroit Lakes, MN – A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for northwest Minnesota from 6 PM Wednesday to 3 PM CST Thursday, with up to 4 inches of snow and wind gusts up to 40 mph.
According to the National Weather Service in Grand Forks, affected areas include Roseau, Mahnomen, and Becker counties, with Fosston, Thief River Falls, and Detroit Lakes expecting the worst impacts.
