Jonestown, PA – Pennsylvania State Police continue searching for Eric Wayne Pyles, who vanished on December 12, 2000, at age 12.

Police say Pyles got off his school bus near Awol Road in Jonestown but did not go home. Instead, he walked south toward Silvertown Road. A church secretary saw him around 2:45 p.m. near Jonestown Bible Church.

Pyles had a history of running away but always returned. However, he has not been seen since that day. Multiple searches have not found any evidence of his whereabouts.

Authorities released an age-progressed image to help the public recognize what he may look like today.
