Baltimore, MD – After a week of frigid temperatures, Maryland residents can look forward to a gradual warm-up starting Saturday. The National Weather Service predicts highs reaching near 40 degrees with mostly sunny skies, offering a welcome break from icy mornings.

According to the National Weather Service, Saturday’s high will hover around 35 degrees, with nighttime lows dipping to 28. Sunday will bring slightly warmer conditions, with a high near 44 degrees. Although cold nights remain, the warming trend is expected to continue into the week, with highs climbing to the upper 40s by Tuesday.

Travelers and commuters should remain cautious as icy patches may linger during early morning hours on Saturday and Sunday, especially along major roadways like I-83 and I-95. Light winds over the weekend will keep conditions calm, but breezy weather could return Monday.

By Monday, temperatures are expected to rise to 45 degrees under sunny skies, marking the warmest day of the forecast. The trend continues Tuesday, with highs reaching 48 degrees and partly cloudy skies offering relief to those planning outdoor activities.

For those heading outdoors this weekend, dressing in layers is advised, as temperatures will drop significantly after sunset. Residents can take advantage of the sunny days to safely clear remaining snow or ice from driveways and sidewalks.

Looking ahead, Marylanders can anticipate milder weather throughout the week, with plenty of sunshine breaking up the winter gloom. Stay tuned for updates as weather conditions evolve.
