Binghamton, NY – A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 1 p.m. Thursday for portions of New York and Pennsylvania, bringing a mix of snow, sleet, and freezing rain to the region.

According to the National Weather Service, affected areas include Steuben, Chemung, and Tioga counties in New York, as well as Bradford, Luzerne, and Wyoming counties in Pennsylvania. Snow and sleet accumulations up to one inch are expected, with ice accumulation reaching one-tenth of an inch. Wind gusts could reach 40 mph.
