The San Francisco Pride Parade and Pride Celebration are just around the corner! Whether you’re attending the parade or the festivities, here’s everything you need to know about the event and related road closures.
Event Details:
- Parade: The parade begins Sunday at 10:30 a.m. at Market and Beale streets, near Embarcadero Plaza, and will proceed down Market Street towards Civic Center Plaza.
- Pride Celebration: The celebration will run Saturday and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., with activities happening throughout the day.

- Polk Street between McAllister and Grove
- Larkin Street between McAllister and Market
- Fulton Street between Hyde and Larkin

- Polk Street between Turk and Market
- Larkin Street between Turk and Market
- Hyde Street between Turk and Market
- Golden Gate Avenue between Van Ness and Leavenworth
- McAllister Street between Van Ness and Leavenworth
- Fulton Street between Larkin and Hyde
- Grove Street between Van Ness and Hyde
Closed 12 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday:
- Leavenworth Street between McAllister and Market
- Sutter Street between Sansome and Market
- Sansome Street (northbound lanes) between Sutter and Bush
Closed 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday:
- Market Street between 8th and 9th
- Steuart Street between Market and Howard
- Spear Street between Market and Folsom (Intersections open)
- Main Street between Market and Folsom (Intersections open)
- Beale Street between Market and Mission
- Beale Traffic Lanes between Mission and Howard (Muni-only lane open for Salesforce Transit Center access)

Parade Route:
The parade will begin at Market and Beale streets and end at Market and 9th streets, near Civic Center Plaza.
To ensure safety and smooth traffic flow, Market Street will be closed between Beale and 9th streets starting 9:30 a.m. All intersections along Market Street will be closed to cross traffic.
Getting to the Parade and Celebration:
- Best Option: The Market Street Subway is the easiest way to get to the parade.
- BART: Riders can get off at Embarcadero, Montgomery, Powell, or Civic Center stations. These stations are near the parade route and close to the Civic Center Festival.
