SAN ANTONIO – According to San Antonio police, a man was critically injured with multiple gunshot wounds during a bar argument that escalated outside and resulted in gunfire.
The incident occurred at 12:51 a.m. on Saturday at the intersection of Woodstone Way and Fountainwood Street.
Reportedly, the altercation began inside the bar between the victim, a man in his 40s, and another individual. It later spilled out onto the street and took a dangerous turn.
The suspect then brandished a gun and fired shots at the victim, hitting him twice in the abdomen and once in the shoulder.
The injured man was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, as confirmed by SAPD. The perpetrator managed to flee on foot before the police arrived at the scene. Despite a thorough search of the area, law enforcement was unable to locate the suspect.
