1.) University of Southern California (USC)

The best undergraduate business program, according to Poets&Quants 2023, is the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. Marshall School of Business offers high-quality business education with a focus on hands-on learning.

It has a 9.03% acceptance rate and great training and job placement rates. All of the students in the class of 2022 had internships before they graduated, and 97.81% had full-time jobs within three months of graduation. Average starting salaries for Marshall grads are said to be $83,777.

2.) Georgetown University

The McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University is in second place on the list. With a program that mixes business and liberal arts classes, McDonough gives students a strong foundation in critical thinking and reasoning.

The school focuses on helping students get jobs, and 97.58% of the class of 2022 have full-time jobs. McDonough students have to take 120 semester hours of classes, which includes the liberal arts core, the business core, their chosen major(s), and minors.

3.) University of Pennsylvania (UPenn)

The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania was named first for five years in a row, but it is now third. Wharton has the most stringent requirements for getting into the school, which makes it the leader in the field of admission criteria.

Ninety-nine percent of the class of 2022 did at least one business-related internship, and 98.43% of them got full-time jobs after they graduated. The average starting pay for Wharton graduates was the highest, at $100,655.

4.) University of Virginia (UVA)

Poets&Quants 2023 places the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia as the fourth best in the country. UVA’s program stands out because it takes place over two years. During the first two years, students study liberal arts and then apply to the McIntire School for their junior year. 

The McIntire School has an 11.79% acceptance rate, which is very high. After graduation, 97.83% of the class of 2022 got full-time jobs, and 93% of them had at least one business-focused internship.

5.) University of Notre Dame

The Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame is regularly rated as one of the top 10 undergraduate business programs. With an acceptance rate of 13.66%, Mendoza emphasizes the value of doing business in an honest way.

92% of the class of 2022 got internships related to business, and 97.34% got full-time work after they graduated. For the class of 2022 as a whole, the average pay was $84,500.

These top five undergraduate business schools offer great education, good job prospects, and a good name for turning out successful business people.
