Crips gang member responsible for drugs in Hampton Roads sentenced

Hampton Roads Heroin Trafficker From the Crips Gang is Sentenced

A man identified as Kevin Day, also known as “Prince Hanucho,” and believed to be associated with the Grape Street Crips gang in California, has been sentenced to 24 years in prison. Prosecutors stated that he was involved in trafficking 11 kilograms of controlled substances from California to Hampton Roads.

Between fall 2018 and September 2019, Kevin Day led a methamphetamine distribution conspiracy that operated across multiple states and involved shipping high-purity methamphetamine via the United States mail. Additionally, he employed couriers to smuggle fentanyl into Hampton Roads using commercial flights. Once the drugs reached Hampton Roads, local dealers and users distributed them.

The Department of Justice reported that Day and his accomplices engaged in money laundering activities to conceal the drug profits they gained from their illegal operations.
