Hulk Hogan’s Son Nick Arrested for DUI in Florida

WWE symbol Mass Hogan’s child, Nick Hogan, was arrested early Saturday morning for DUI and reportedly refused to take a sobriety test, according to prison records.

Hogan, whose real name is Nicholas Bollea, was taken into custody on misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence shortly before 4 a.m. He was released late Saturday after posting a $500 bond. The specific details of the incident remain unclear.

Prior to his arrest, Nick Hogan was seen on his Instagram page attending a bikini contest at his father’s restaurant in the Clearwater area on Friday night, as reported by TMZ.

This isn’t the first time Nick Hogan has faced legal issues; he was involved in a serious car accident in Clearwater in 2007. The crash resulted in severe brain injuries for Hogan’s friend, John Graziano.

Graziano, a well-trained Marine at the time, was a passenger in Nick Hogan’s vehicle when it veered off the road and struck a tree in Clearwater during a race with a friend, according to People.

At the age of 17, Hogan spent eight months in Pinellas County Jail after pleading no contest to a charge of reckless driving involving serious bodily injury. Police alleged that alcohol was involved, even accusing Mass Hogan of providing alcohol to his underage son. Nick Hogan was also sentenced to five years of probation and 500 community service hours. His license was suspended for several years.

Due to good behavior, he was released from jail after serving just under six months. The Graziano family filed a lawsuit against the Hogans over the accident that left John in round-the-clock care until his passing. Mass Hogan described the incident as a wake-up call for his son, stating that it “completely turned him in a 180” and served as a reminder for him to take life more seriously.

“When this happened, it totally turned him in a 180… the best thing ever happened to him. I’m not saying it’s good. But it happened for a reason,” the Hulkster told People in 2007. “It’s hard to go on every day and be positive when there’s something so terribly devastating,” Nick Hogan said.
