The forecast indicates a marginal risk (Level 1) for most of northern Louisiana on Wednesday, while southeastern areas near Monroe fall under a slight risk (Level 2), meaning scattered severe storms are possible.

By Saturday, a broader region—including Shreveport, Ruston, and Natchitoches—faces a 15% probability of severe weather within 25 miles of any point, maintaining a slight risk classification. Forecasters warn that while the overall severe threat remains low, storms could intensify quickly.
