Oregon Cascade Foothills Winter Weather: Slick Roads Until 4 AM

Portland, OR – A winter weather advisory remains in effect until 4 a.m. Thursday for portions of the Oregon Cascade foothills and Columbia River Gorge, where additional snow accumulation is expected.

According to the National Weather Service, up to one inch of snow could fall in areas such as Brightwood, Detroit, and Oakridge. Roads may become slick, especially on bridges and mountain passes.

Travelers should carry emergency supplies and check for chain requirements before driving in higher elevations.
