The most recent Morning Consult survey reveals that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis ranks among the nation’s least popular Governors.
DeSantis received a disapproval rating of 45%, which is the second-highest disapproval rating among all United States Governors. Only Iowa’s Governor fared worse than DeSantis. For comparison, Vermont’s Republican Governor Phil Scott had a disapproval rating of only 14%.
Governor DeSantis’ disapproval rating has increased by 3% since the previous poll, which could be seen as a setback to his Presidential ambitions. This marks a significant departure from a 2019 poll that positioned him as one of the most popular Governors.
