SAN DIEGO – A 63-year-old man sustained severe injuries when he was struck by a car in the Midtown area of San Diego early Saturday morning.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the man was crossing the 3500 block of Kettner Boulevard in an unmarked crosswalk when he entered the path of a 2015 Honda C-RV driven by a 68-year-old man, resulting in the collision.
The driver promptly stopped the vehicle and remained at the scene, as reported by SDPD.
The pedestrian was transported to the hospital with injuries that were serious but not life-threatening.
