Detective Harlow and Detective Cushman observed parolee at large Marquis Madden in the 300 block of W. Robertson Ave. today. Madden decided to run from detectives and attempted to hide in the front yard of a residence. Madden was located and taken into custody. Madden had an active parole warrant and was also arrested for the foot pursuit. Upon search, two fictitious 100 dollar bills were located on his person. The two bills are consistent with fictitious bills that have been used all over town for the last few months. The Ridgecrest Police Department would like to remind businesses and citizens to check your money before you accept it. Attached are photographs of the fictitious money.
