LOS ANGELES – A guy died Monday morning when several cars crashed on the 405 Freeway near Westwood.
Officer Michael Nasir of the California Highway Patrol told City News Service that it happened at 3:36 a.m. on the southbound San Diego Freeway at Sunset Boulevard.
Nasir said that the crash involved four cars and that “a body was in the middle of the freeway.”
He said that the man was said to be dead at the scene.

At about 4 a.m., the CHP sent a SigAlert that closed all northbound lanes north of Sunset Boulevard.
Officers from the LAPD closed the ramp from Sunset Boulevard to the southbound 405 road, and cars were sent off the road at Skirball Center Drive.
