RIDGECREST, California — On Tuesday night, a fire in Ridgecrest was being fought by firemen from Kern County.
A news statement says that just before 10 p.m., fire crews responded to the 300 block of West Church Avenue and found an aggressive structure fire that threatened a nearby home.
Firefighters fought to protect the house while others went inside to look for people who were hurt. KCFD said that no one was found in the house during the search.
The fire was put out quickly, so the house didn’t get too much damage from the fire. There were no reports of accidents.
The reason for the fire is still under investigation.
