Injuries Unclear After Truck Veers into Crowd in South LA Street Takeover

Street takeovers occurred overnight, leading to the closure of intersections in the Hyde Park, Harvard Park, and Gramercy Park neighborhoods of South Los Angeles.

One particular incident happened at approximately midnight at the intersection of West Century Boulevard and Denker Avenue in the Gramercy Park area.

During the incident, a red pickup truck was observed performing doughnuts in the street. However, the truck lost control and collided with the curb, propelling it into the air. As a result, the driver struggled to maintain control of the vehicle.

Subsequently, the truck veered into a crowd that had gathered at the intersection. The status of any injuries sustained by individuals in the crowd remained unclear.

Meanwhile, amidst the chaos, a Metro bus driver captured footage of the events on her cellphone. Unfortunately, she became trapped in traffic while doing so.

Although the bus driver maintained a positive attitude, her main concern was the well-being of her passengers.

As the tires screeched and fireworks exploded in the background, the bus driver expressed empathy for those who were eager to return home.

At present, it is uncertain whether any arrests were made in connection with any of the incidents.
