San Antonio Altercation Results in Hospitalization of Two Individuals

SAN ANTONIO – A 67-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman have both been hospitalized following a violent altercation early Friday morning, as reported by the San Antonio police.

The incident occurred at approximately 2:20 a.m. within an apartment located in the 1100 block of North Frio Street, which is situated not far from Interstate 10 and North Colorado Street, just to the north of downtown.

Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered the injured individuals in separate apartments. According to the police, the man and woman were engaged in a dispute inside the apartment, stemming from a financial disagreement.

During this confrontation, another woman attempted to intervene. During this attempt, one of them assaulted the other, resulting in the woman sustaining a serious facial cut, while the man suffered injuries to his hand and leg.

Emergency services transported the injured woman to Brooke Army Medical Center via ambulance, while the man was taken to University Hospital. Presently, their current medical conditions are not known.

The woman who intervened in the fight is cooperating with police, although conflicting accounts have been provided. Authorities are presently determining whether charges will be brought against any parties involved.

Responding to the call were the San Antonio Police Department, the San Antonio Fire Department, and EMS.

The investigation is ongoing, as per the police statement.
