SAN ANTONIO – Authorities engaged in a high-speed pursuit late on Saturday night. The pursuit commenced at approximately 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, near the intersection of 36th Street and U.S. Highway 90.
According to officials, deputies from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office were pursuing a vehicle on the highway that was not displaying any lights.
The deputies pursued the suspects’ vehicle onto U.S. 281, which eventually circled back to the original starting point of the chase.
During the pursuit, the suspects’ SUV maneuvered through the Highway 90 and Highway 151 area, while a police helicopter provided assistance.
Shortly thereafter, the SUV veered off the road in the vicinity of Highway 90 and Callaghan. Authorities initiated a search for the suspect on foot, aided by a helicopter.
