SWAT Arrests Three Individuals in San Antonio on Warrants and Firearms Charges

SAN ANTONIO — According to the San Antonio Police, three individuals were apprehended following the arrival of SWAT and other law enforcement agencies at the designated location on the east side.

The incident took place on Thursday night around 10:30 p.m. in the 2200 block of E. Houston Street.

Video footage from the scene depicted the police utilizing ‘flash bangs’ and gas canisters to gain access to the residence situated on East Houston, near New Braunfels Avenue.

A SWAT officer was even observed wielding a large axe to breach the entryway.

Authorities have reported that the three men were arrested on charges related to warrants and firearms violations. Multiple AK-47 style weapons and handguns were seized at the scene.

The individuals were wanted for outstanding warrants and weapons violations, although the specifics of any narcotics discovered have not been disclosed. The identities of the arrested individuals have not been made public.

The operation involved the collaborative efforts of SWAT, TAG, and SCU units during the execution of the warrants.
