16 Dogs, Including Adorable Puppies, Need Foster Homes in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO — A new residential area is under development near Roosevelt and Loop 410 on the south side of San Antonio. As the neighborhood grows, it has come to attention that some of the houses are already inhabited by stray dogs.

A social media post has been shared to mobilize the community in finding homes for 16 dogs, including five adorable puppies. While several families have reached out to Animal Care Services, the primary objective is to find foster homes for these dogs.

“We are currently collaborating with three rescue organizations – Roscoe Rescue, Busted Mutts Rescue, and 4 Little Paws. Our hope is to find additional foster families, place all the dogs into loving homes, ensure their veterinary needs are taken care of, and ultimately get them adopted,” stated Jenna Loos, a dedicated dog rescuer.

Loos suspects that these dogs were either lost or abandoned, and unfortunately, two puppies suffered snake bites and required medical attention. As of now, there are still six dogs in need of assistance, and you can make a difference by donating or offering to foster them.

Loos also highlights the prevalent issue of stray dogs in San Antonio, and she showcases all her rescued dogs on her TikTok account.
